PRESIDENTE LIGHT CARIBBEAN EXPERIENCE PROMOTION
Official Rules
No Purchase Necessary To Enter Or Win
1. ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS: Only residents of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, who are 21 years of age or older, are eligible to enter. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED, TAXED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
2. HERE’S HOW TO ENTER: On an Official Entry Form, or on a plain piece of 3” x 5” paper, write Presidente Light Caribbean Experience, sign your name and also hand print your complete name, birth date, address (including zip code), and (optional) daytime and evening telephone numbers. Limit one entry per person, per day. No mechanically reproduced or photocopied entries permitted. All entries must be deposited by 5:00PM on July 20th, 2007. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for lost, late, damaged, incomplete, incorrect or postage-due mail, illegible or misdirected entries or entries not received in time for the random drawing, all of which are void. All entries become the property of the sponsor and will not be returned.
3. RANDOM DRAWING: Winner(s) will be selected in a random drawing on or about July 20th, 2007 from among all eligible entries received by an independent judging organization. Decisions of the judges are final. All prizes will be awarded and winners notified by mail. Limit one prize per family/household. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received. You need not be present at drawing.
4. PRIZE(S) AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE(S): Prizes will be awarded as follows: 1 prize for residents of Massachusetts and 1 prize for residents of Rhode Island. Each prize consists of five (5) days and four (4) nights in the Dominican Republic (price will include airfare, hotel accommodation for 5 days and 4 nights, all meals included in the hotel, transportation between hotel and airport, transportation from/to included activities) for each winner and its companion. Does not include the cost of the visas. The retail value of this prize is approximately US$3,000.00 per winner. Prize consists of only those items specifically listed as part of the prize.
5. GENERAL RULES: Promotion will start on June 4th, 2007. Open only to residents of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, who are of legal drinking age (21) or older at time of entry. Employees of SAB/Miller Brewing Company, Presidente USA, La Mega New York, Spanish Broadcasting System, Power 96, La Nueva Mega 98.1, Desde el Medio Tours, El Diario New York, La Prensa, La Nueva, El Mundo, Latina 100.3, their distributors, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, alcohol beverage retailers and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are NOT ELIGIBLE. Winners may not substitute or transfer prize, but sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize with cash or prize of equal or greater value. Prize is not redeemable for cash. All federal, state and local taxes and fees are the sole responsibility of winner. All federal, state and local laws apply. Potential prize winners must execute an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Prize Acceptance Form within 10 days of attempted notification. Noncompliance within this time period may result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. Return of a prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. All travelers (who must be of legal drinking age or older) must execute a Release of Liability prior to ticketing and must possess required travel documents (e.g. valid photo I.D., valid passport, visa, etc.) prior to departure. All travelers must agree to travel on dates specified by sponsor; dates of departure and return are subject to change. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to the sponsor and its agencies to use winner's name and/or/biographical information and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. By accepting prize, winner agrees to hold sponsor, its respective directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of participation in the sweepstakes or use, including travel, of the prize. Winner assumes all liability for an injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of a prize. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to conduct a background check of any criminal records of the prize winners. To the extent necessary, and permitted by law, prize winners shall authorize such background check. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any prize winner from receiving any prize based on the background check. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. Sponsor is not responsible for a typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the sweepstakes or in the announcement of prizes.
